Business Cards
Below are examples of two business cards for the same business.
The card on the left is a good example of a bad business card. There is no logo, the graphic images are busy and lack visual impact, the design is unbalanced and the contact information is crowded, making it difficult to read.
I designed the card on the right for my husband's business. It has visual impact and is easily recognized in a pile or group of cards. It isn't a thing of beauty, buy it's effective.
The logo is simple and clear and was used on all correspondence and print material.
The business name is clearly separated and the contact info is easy to read.
We didn't try to squeeze any extra info about the business on the card or use tacky clipart. We did want to provide a list of the products we sold, so we printed it on the back, leaving the front uncluttered..
